Shortcuts, Chat Commands and Abbreviations

Ever wondered what that person really meant when they typed some jumbled letters? Surely they mean something, right?

Chat Commands

  • /w – Private whisper someone. Ex. /r “SummonerName1” hello friend 😀
  • /r – reply to a whisper. This will automatically set the summoner name to whoever messaged you last
  • /all, or press shift+enter – Type to in “all chat.”  Both teams will be able to see you message. *Note: You have to enable the cross-team chat function in the main menu in order to type in all chat.* (See picture)

How to enable All chat

  • Pressing enter will enable you to just type to your team
  • /note – This is actually a very interesting feature that few know about/utilize. Typing /note and then a message in chat will create a text file in your league folder with your message. Use it to keep track of mistake or things to improve!
  • /surrender or /nosurrender – To surrender or decline a surrender
  • /mute @ChampionName – mute a champion (teammate or otherwise), alternatively you can mute someone in game if you press tab then click the speech bubble next to their name on the far right.
  • /ignore playername – Puts the player on a blacklist

Shortcuts

  • /d, /dance, Ctrl + 3, Make your champion dance
  • /l, /laugh, Ctrl + 4, Make your champion laugh
  • /t, /taunt, Ctrl + 2, Make your champion say a taunt
  • /j, /joke, Ctrl + 1, Make your champion say a joke
